Integration in Conjunction with Launch of Hangouts Chat Collaboration Tool for Enterprise Teams

The new integration will enable enterprise teams to manage and collaborate on Wrike tasks within the context of Chat conversations, making communications around work more focused and effective.

The announcement coincides with G Suite’s official launch of Chat, an intelligent and secure collaboration tool built to bring teams together. From direct messages to group conversations, Chat provides a centralized, integrated experience that makes team collaboration easy and efficient.

The Wrike integration allows for easier collaboration on work and makes conversations more productive by displaying task details and enabling users to act on Wrike tasks directly within chats. With this integration, users can:

  • Preview Wrike tasks in Chat – Collaborate more easily on Wrike projects by displaying task details in chats. See details such as title, status, assignees and description, and edit tasks right from this preview.
  • Receive Wrike notifications in Chat –  Stay informed and quickly respond to task updates and changes in Wrike. Notifications include the task title as well as content specific to the notification type.
  • Create Wrike tasks in Chat - Create structured work from unstructured conversations by quickly getting work into Wrike, where it can be better managed, tracked, and reported on.
