How to explain project management to a client

When onboarding a new client, it is important to go through what they can expect during the project life cycle. This may involve explaining your project management processes to the customer. 

The best way to explain project management to a client is through transparency and clear communication. Explain things like project scope and why it is important for both you and them. Follow that up by explaining things like billing and deadlines. Familiarize them with members of your project team and detail the value and function of various processes so you can help them understand your duties as a project manager.
