Wrike Bolsters Leadership Team with Tech Veterans to Accelerate Growth in Enterprise Market

December 13, 2017

San Jose, Calif.-- Wrike, the work management software for high performance teams, announces today the addition of two seasoned technology executives to its leadership team to guide the company’s strong growth.

Barrett Foster and Frazier Miller join Wrike as Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Marketing Officer, respectively. Miller previously served in executive leadership roles at Yahoo, Bloomspot, and Articulate. Foster previously served in executive positions at BrightEdge, Integrated Decision Systems, and Micropatent. Frazier Miller says Wrike’s success with midmarket and enterprise customers was a part of his decision to join the firm. “With its 15,000 customers, Wrike is an amazing company that is seeing phenomenal growth. They’re bringing transformational change in an exciting category that will be moving quickly,”  he says.

“The next stage of growth will be fun as we continue our expansion into larger and larger accounts both here and abroad.” Wrike’s new CRO Barrett Foster says the leadership of Wrike as a product and the growth of the collaborative work management space attracted him to Wrike. “I spent years as a Wrike user myself, and their vision for organizing work resonated with what I saw as the biggest pain points in a rapidly scaling company: visibility, repeatability, and predictability.” Miller’s breadth of experience in marketing, product, and operations were all factors in his hiring. “Wrike is a large organization with 500 employees globally,” says Wrike CEO Andrew Filev.

“In Frazier, we get a leader who can bring a level of operational excellence to the organization, and make an impact on our brand and messaging.” Filev cites Foster’s experience in scaling sales teams and designing upmarket sales paths for previous firms as a draw. “Under Barrett’s leadership, BrightEdge grew from an SMB focused SEO platform into a major player in the enterprise MarTech space. During that time, he continuously scaled and evolved their revenue strategies in response to the explosion of growth in their market. This experience will be crucial to Wrike as we continue to expand our own market leadership.”

Foster and Miller will both join Wrike’s Headquarters in San Jose, California and manage an organization with talent in San Diego and Dublin, Ireland. Wrike has raised $26 Million in 2 rounds from Bain Capital Ventures, Scale Venture Partners, and DCM Ventures, and was named to the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Wrike’s 15,000 customers includes brands like Etsy, L’Oreal Canada, and Tiffany and Co.
