How to respond to a client who is unhappy with project progress

Try as you might, some clients may not love everything your team does on their behalf. Unhappy clients come with the territory, but knowing how to address their issues is a sign of a good project manager.

If a client is unhappy with the project process, do your best to understand why. Is your team delivering slow or unsatisfactory work? Or is it a case of your client being unfamiliar with your team’s processes?

Increasing client visibility is one way to provide insight into project progress and respond to a client who is unhappy with the project’s process. With Wrike, you can invite clients to collaborate in the proofing and approval process or just @mention them on specific milestones and tasks of high importance.
