Wrike Establishes European Headquarters in Dublin

It’s official: Wrike has set up shop in Europe! On Monday, with IDA Ireland, we announced the establishment of a European Headquarters in Dublin and the creation of 50 jobs over the next two years. The Wrike team joined Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton in Dublin for the announcement. The new headquarters will support Wrike’s high-growth and dedicated customer support across Europe and the UK.

Following the announcement, Wrike CRO Seth Shaw spoke with Irish media to discuss the expansion news and its impact on Ireland's growing tech community. He talked with Silicon Republic’s John Kennedy about how the digital sector’s growth in Dublin made the city a no-brainer choice for establishing Wrike’s European headquarters. “There is no better market in Europe for this than Dublin, and you can make a strong argument that Dublin is the San Francisco of Europe," he said.

Adding to this, our Founder and CEO Andrew Filev said, “We are impressed by the tech community in Ireland and aim to build a dynamic and ambitious team in Dublin...We have grown at a record speed over the past few years and our European HQ will market and support Wrike prospects and customers across Europe."

We spoke with Advice Interactive Group about their experience using Wrike. This Inc. 500 digital marketing technology company shared how they came across Wrike and how the tool has helped them meet their goals. Their company is composed of 50 employees and multiple teams of contractors, all using Wrike! 1. Tell us about your team and the role it plays in your company. Every department in our company uses Wrike, and each department head uses its organizational structure a little differently. We have folders set up for each client and then folders set up per project under those folders. That's where we keep all the day-to-day tasks, and we can quickly and easily attribute different work to different projects, set timelines, set recurring tasks, etc. 2. What were the goals (or problems you faced) that led you to Wrike? We had problems with scaling projects, time management, task management, and team/contractor communication and collaboration. We tried Basecamp, Trello, Google Drive, and Dropbox. Wrike combines the best of all those software solutions and puts it all on one place. 3. How has Wrike helped your team reach its goals? We have a lot of moving parts and a lot of different teams working on projects. Wrike has been the best solution for us to easily manage project timelines, monitor task completion, and effectively communicate with different members of our team. 4. What improvements have you seen since implementing Wrike? We've been able to scale projects very quickly and easily. I could launch 300+ projects a day by taking advantage of Wrike's ability to create task dependencies and duplicate tasks and subtasks. It's easy to manage both internal and external teams for task completion. The Wrike interface is user friendly and it's simple to create different dashboards to monitor team members' work. First of all, what is RSS? It is an abbreviation that stands for Really Simple Syndication — a format for delivering regularly changing Web content. Many news-related sites, blogs and other online publishers syndicate their content’s updates in the form of RSS feeds to help you keep track of newly published information. How does RSS help you to be more productive? The benefit of RSS is the aggregation of content from multiple online sources in one place. RSS makes life easier for people who regularly use the Web. You easily stay informed by receiving the latest content from the sites you are interested in. You keep your privacy because, with RSS, you don’t have to subscribe to each site's e-mail newsletter. You save a lot of time because you do not need to visit each of your favorite sites individually. How can you save time following your project’s progress with Wrike’s RSS feature? You can use Wrike’s RSS feeds with Wrike’s e-mail to-do lists or instead of them, if you find it more convenient. Wrike’s RSS feature is a perfect complement to on-site update notifications that you see in the upper left-hand corner of your workspace. RSS might be especially helpful when you are out of the office because you will still get relevant and up-to-date information about your team’s progress for you to read in your own time. This information will be available with your smart phone, BlackBerry, iPhone or other mobile device. How can I use RSS? You need to have special software called an "RSS reader." It can be either Web-based or desktop-based. There’s a handy list of RSS readers in Wikipedia. Google Reader or Bloglines are very popular. Besides, you may already have one in your browser, if you use Fire Fox, Internet Explorer 7 or Safari. To get updates from people you are collaborating with via RSS, you just need to click on the blue RSS icon in the upper right-hand corner of your workspace. This will allow you to stay in the loop without having to stay logged on to wrike.com all the time. All the messages will be chronologically listed in your RSS reader. When new information is added to a task, you get an update with a link to the renewed task instantly. With little helpers, like Wrike’s RSS feeds, you become more productive and manage your projects more efficiently.
