New Folder Colors Come to Wrike!

For some time, one of our highest-volume requests has been: "We need more folder colors!"

Today, we have brought a rainbow of colors to everyone's workspace. Make your workspace easier to navigate by color-coding your most important folders so they'll catch your eye immediately as you scan your folder tree.

From red to purple to sea foam green, you can now color coordinate all your folders to brighten up your workspace and delight your inner child.

How to pick your new folder colors:

It couldn't be easier: right-click any folder to go to the color selector and then have fun making your decision! You'll see the new color appear to the left of your folder name.

You can also select the silhouette icon instead of a color.

Simplified Way to Manage Folders

Today, we are glad to tell you about the simplified the way to create, rename and delete folders in your Wrike workspace. All these actions can be made easily with the help of a right-click in the left pane of the workspace. Let me describe it in detail. 1) To create a folder, right-click on the folder in which you want to create a new folder and choose the “Add folder” option. Enter the folder name and hit the “Enter” key. That is easy. 2) To rename a folder, right-click on the folder and choose the “Rename folder” option. Edit the folder name and click off the field. 3) To remove a folder, right-click on the folder and choose the “Delete folder” option. If you want to share a folder, attach a file or create a folder description, you can do it by clicking on the "Edit folder" link in the right pane of the workspace and editing the folder properties. The next step planned to improve the convenience of working with folders in Wrike is drag-and-drop for folders. We are currently working on a feature that will allow you to easily move folders within the hierarchy.

We have good news for those of you who are visual learners. Now you can add more colors and icons to your workspace. If you are making the most of your folders in Wrike and use them as tags, custom statuses, categories, etc., you might have dozens of them! So if you want your team members to pay more attention to a specific folder, color it red (or another favorite color), and all the users will know that it contains important information. Color-coding is consistent across your workspace. In case you put one task simultaneously in several folders and the function of tags is assigned to the folder names, you will easily spot in your task list which folders the task belongs to. Spot your CRM content easily. Do you manage leads and contacts as tasks in a specific folder? Then you’ll definitely like the “person” icon, which you can find in the same section as the colors. Highlight Important Points In Tasks With the New Color Marker

Working on task descriptions in Wrike with your peers is easy and fun thanks to our lightning-fast Live Editor. In fact, the descriptions serve like online documents! They are saved in real time, can be edited by several people simultaneously, and have the essential formatting tools. And today, we enhanced the text formatting toolkit with a color marker to help you be sure everyone notices important points. Another great way to use colors is creating your team’s secret color coding scheme ;-) For example, when you’re sharing ideas with each other in Wrike, you can mark your favorite in green, and give less appealing suggestions a red mark of disapproval. The great news is that the marker is transparently integrated with other tools, like MS Word and email. If you paste text with color highlights from another source, it remains highlighted in the task. Since color palettes vary in different editing tools, the shade gets adjusted to its closest equivalent in Wrike. For example, pink becomes red, and brown is converted into black. How about coloring up some of your Wrike tasks? :)
