Latest Integration in Tandem with Google’s Launch of Gmail ‘Add-ons’

San Jose, Calif. -- Wrike, the work management software for high-performance teams, today announced the Wrike Gmail Add-on, which will allow the more than 3.5 million paying G Suite businesses to leverage Wrike’s powerful collaborative work management directly from Gmail. It will enable users to create and manage Wrike tasks from their email, saving users’ time by reducing app switching and empowering workflow in the context of email conversations.

The announcement is in conjunction with Google Cloud’s launch of Gmail Add-ons. The Wrike Add-on is available to G Suite customers and is accessible via Gmail on web and Android.

With the Wrike Add-on, G Suite users can easily capture work coming from email conversations without leaving Gmail. Once in Wrike, this work can be more effectively managed, tracked and reported. Functionality includes:

  • Creation of new tasks from emails – Quickly turn emails into actionable tasks in Wrike without leaving Gmail.
  • Viewing and editing tasks – See task details like title, description and attachments. Complete tasks, change status and assign/un-assign tasks.
  • Send and receive Wrike comments - Avoid complicated email threads and collaborate more effectively on work by sending and receiving Wrike comments on tasks.
  • Adding emails as comments to tasks - Keep email conversations within the same context, by tying them back to existing work, and all communications in one place.
