Wrike’s Days in the Sun at Web 2.0 Expo

Published by Dasha   |  Friday, 14 May, 2010
Last week, we had an absolutely great time at Web 2.0 Expo, where we exhibited at the Long Tail Pavilion. It was a major milestone for us because we released the new Wrike beta! To summarize our impressions of the event, it was a blast.  We ran out of all the brochures that we printed for the show, and we had to fetch some more from the office. But we ran out of that supply as well, long before the end of the event. Left empty-handed, we suggested that everyone snap a picture of our cool booth, so they wouldn’t forget to check Wrike out. You can see one of those pics sent to us by our customer.

We were totally delighted with such attention from the attendees. Thank you all for stopping by and spreading the word to your friends and colleagues! Can’t wait to see you all at the next shows.

Digging into the Value of Collaboration 2.0 with SDForum

Published by Daria   |  Tuesday, 27 October, 2009
What impact does online collaboration make on our everyday lives? We’ll be among those searching for the answer to this question during the upcoming Collaboration 2.0 Conference organized by the SDForum in Santa Clara, Calif. Wrike will be presented at the event, which will be held on October 30 and will gather the industry experts, as well as companies interested in innovating their collaboration practices. Our project management software will be showcased as one of the cutting-edge solutions that streamline collaboration in a corporate environment.

SDForum
, the organization behind the conference, is well-known for its successful efforts to foster innovation, entrepreneurship and leadership within Silicon Valley with the help of educational and networking events. The Collaboration 2.0 Conference is one of those events, aiming at exploring the opportunities offered by the innovative Web-based technologies.

“Online collaboration has augmented current knowledge patterns in corporate environments, improved mindshare, boosted transparency and added a sense of community among coworkers,” state the organizers of the conference.  This is just the beginning of the upcoming discussion of this topic, and we’re looking forward to taking part in it.

If you’re interested in finding out more about the business benefits offered by the innovative collaboration technologies, or if you want to share your own opinion on how Collaboration 2.0 influences the business environment, then we hope to see you among the conference participants on October 30.

And the Free Netbook from Wrike Goes to…

Published by Daria   |  Wednesday, 14 October, 2009
Jürgen Oschadleus, MBA, PMP, an international speaker, trainer and consultant on project leadership and communications! He became the winner of the free netbook drawing that was previously announced in our blog. The final phase of the giveaway took place yesterday at the PMI Congress North America 2009. We were thrilled about the vibrant attention of the audience to our drawing. Over 300 people registered for the giveaway, but only one of them turned out to be the lucky winner.

Jürgen came all the way from Australia to give a speech on the role of communications and leadership in project management. We bet he didn’t expect to get a free netbook as a pleasant side benefit. The winner of the drawing held by Wrike is a passionate project management innovator and an advocate of a new management approach focused on conversational leadership. He travels a lot, bringing his knowledge, experience and insight to global audiences. No doubt that Wrike’s prize will be a useful addition to his traveler’s tech kit.

We’d also like to thank all the participants for taking part in our giveaway. We hope to see  you all next year at the PMI Global Congress 2010!

"I think it's obvious from Wrike's design that the system engineers all have project management experience. It's seems like they took our feature wish list and built a service around it," said Aaron Anderson, account strategy manager, 3rd Wave Research.
