Model and Podcaster Ali Tate Cutler to Present at Wrike for Empow(h)er Speaker Series, Kicking Off a Week of Recognizing Women in Honor of International Women’s Day

February 28, 2019

“The Love You Give” Podcast Host Will Lead Discussion on Body Positivity and Self-Love as Part of Series Covering Women’s Professional and Personal Development

San Jose, Calif., February 28, 2019 -- Wrike, the collaborative work management platform for high-performance teams, is pleased to feature Ali Tate Cutler, a body positive model and podcast host, in the latest installment of the Empower(h)er speaker series sponsored by the Women of Wrike (WoW) resource group. On Monday, March 4, Cutler will share how she retrained her brain to think in a body-positive framework while working in an industry that is notoriously harsh on non-traditional bodies. This presentation marks the start of Wrike’s week-long celebration of women, culminating on International Women’s Day on Friday, March 8.

“Fifty-six percent of women and 41 percent of men are dissatisfied with their bodies, and whether or not people realize it, that dissatisfaction affects their confidence in all aspects of their lives,” said Cutler. “Groups like the Women of Wrike and series like Empow(h)er are incredibly important because they bring women together to share moments of vulnerability, which will hopefully start them on the path towards a new mental framework and ultimately self-love.”

Cutler has modeled for several major brands, including Abercrombie & Fitch, Ralph Lauren, Free People, and Banana Republic, throughout her career. She credits meditation, a healthy lifestyle, and forgiveness as important elements on her path to finding the self-love she has needed to succeed in modeling. In addition to modeling, Cutler is the creator and host of “The Love You Give” podcast, which interviews guests weekly on topics involving wellness, health, and spirituality.

“Whether it’s about specifically body positivity or just advocating for yourself in a difficult field, Ali brings a unique perspective on resilience in the face of adversity,” said Wrike Vice President of People Operations Megan Barbier. “Her journey to self-love is relevant to women, regardless of their age or career. We are delighted to host and learn from such an amazing, accomplished woman.”

In recognition of International Women’s Day, Wrike has teamed up with Clari to increase awareness for Dress For Success, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women and providing women with outfits for job interviews. Wrike will be collecting clothing and donations throughout the week for Dress for Success. The week will conclude with a launch of the first WoW Library at the company’s worldwide headquarters in San Jose, CA. The WoW library will be filled with professional and personal development resources specifically geared toward women. Members of WoW will be invited to the launch event to share stories and books that have had an impact on them.
