Collaborative Work Management Leader Attributes Success to Company Culture

San Jose, Calif., June 25, 2018 -- Wrike, a leading collaborative work management software provider, has received a 2018 Top Workplace honor from the Bay Area News Group. Fostering a company culture that is positive, rewarding, and inclusive has been a priority for Wrike since day one. To that end, the company created a Culture Committee to plan team events, and two employee resource groups specifically aimed at strengthening its commitment to diversity and inclusion – the Women of Wrike (WOW) and the Out Wrikers Network.

“A great workplace is so much more than free lunches and unlimited PTO,” said Andrew Filev, CEO & founder, Wrike. “It requires a company culture that celebrates the strength in our differences and employees who share in the company’s values, believe in its mission and genuinely feel that their work matters. We believe much of Wrike’s success can be traced back to our team, which is why we view every effort to bolster our culture as a direct investment into the company itself.”

The Wrike Culture Committee spearheads events, including scavenger hunts, catered happy hours and in-office movie nights among others. WOW supports women in the workplace and holds monthly events in local Wrike offices to open and maintain dialogue around issues affecting women. The Out Wrike Network holds events engaging the LGBT community at local and international levels. In celebration of Pride Month, all Wrike offices are participating in LGBT-focused events, including fundraising at the Billy DeFrank Center in San Jose.

“Company culture is not something you can set and forget; it is a journey that requires continuous attention and nurturing,” said Megan Barbier, vice president of human resources, Wrike. “We work hard to cultivate a culture here at Wrike that genuinely values individual contributions and encourages employees to take risks. We are thrilled that those efforts are being recognized once again by not only the Bay Area News Group, but more importantly, by our employees as well.”

The Top Workplaces list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC (formerly WorkplaceDynamics), a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution and connection.

“What Wrike has accomplished these last few years is quite impressive,” said Doug Claffey, CEO, Energage. “Being named to the top workplaces list four years in row speaks to their commitment to their core values and recruiting the right people who share those same values. It’s something organizations can’t buy.”

Wrike recently opened its new headquarters in San Jose and looks to add 40 jobs by the end of the year. View the full list of 2018 Top Workplaces here and Wrike's latest career opportunities at https://www.wrike.com/company/.
