Types of licenses

(The feature is only available to account administrators.)

There are 2 types of licenses to access Wrike: a User license and a Collaborator license. The number of users in your account is defined by the subscription plan your billing account administrator chooses, while account administrators can invite an unlimited number of Collaborators for free, regardless of the subscription type.

Users can take advantages of all of Wrike´s features. They can create tasks and folders, add comments, view plans on the Gantt chart, view the team´s workload and reports, and everything else.

Collaborators can view tasks, leave comments, view and upload files, and change tasks statuses to “complete”, either in Wrike or via e-mail. No other data in your Wrike account can be modified by Collaborators. Collaborators can access their tasks via the List view, Table view, and Activity stream.

Collaborator licenses come in very handy when you need to share project plans with partners, clients or contractors without enabling them to make a lot of changes in your tasks and folders.

Change the license type

Click on your name in the upper right-hand corner of your workspace to open the account settings 1 .

Open the "User management" tab 2 . To change the license type for each particular user or collaborator, move the radio button to the corresponding column 3 . Press "Save" to apply the changes.

To grant the administrative rights to anyone on your team, tick the corresponding "Administrative rights" checkbox 4 .
