Schedule a task
Set the start date 1 , due date 2 and duration 3 for your task. You can estimate task duration in hours to build a more precise schedule.
Some examples of valid input in the duration field include "2h 30m," "5d," "3h," and "15m." You can enter "2h 30m" or simply "1d," "1h" or "30m" when planning a task's duration. In other words, you can use the following format to set the task's duration: "3d 4h 5m," entering the correct number of days, hours and minutes, or removing unnecessary parameters.
If you enter a fractional number of days, like "0.5d" Wrike will turn it into "4h" to represent half of the working day. If you enter a fractional number of hours, Wrike will convert it into whole numbers of hours and precise numbers of minutes. If you enter a fractional number of minutes, Wrike will round it to the nearest whole number.
If you want the task to have only the due date, select "Milestone" instead of "Planned" in the task type field 4 . The task will be displayed as a milestone on a Timeline and on the dashboard.
If you don't want to set exact dates for your task now, you can mark it as "Backlogged" 5 . This means you'll do it sometime later. Read more about backlogged tasks.
