Post a message

In addition to commenting on existing posts, you can ask a question or start a new discussion that isn't directly related to any particular task. To do so, simply post a message in the Activity Stream: type your text in the field marked "Share your thoughts and ideas with all users in your account" on the top of the pane and click "Post to Activity Stream" or press Shift+Enter. Your message will be instantly visible to all users in your account (but not collaborators, as collaborator’s licenses are often granted to clients, contractors, freelancers, and other external agents and we'd like to help you keeping your internal information safe!) 

You can also post a short message when you’re browsing your workspace without switching to the Activity Stream pane. Press "Y" on your keyboard and type your text in the pop-up window. Your message will appear as a separate entry in the Activity Stream.
