Dashboard

The dashboard helps you manage your tasks, communicate with your colleagues and monitor their actions in the activity stream. You can switch to your dashboard at any time by clicking on the appropriate button in the left-hand pane of the workspace.

The dashboard consists of small, interactive panels called widgets. By default, three widgets show the tasks that you should be working on now:

  • overdue tasks assigned to you,
  • overdue tasks that were created by you, and
  • tasks scheduled for the current week.

The widgets contain the information regarding the task’s assignee, due date and how many days it is overdue. Additionally, parent folders are shown near each task, so you can quickly get the context of the action item. If you only want to see the task on the dashboard on its due date, you can set the task as a milestone.

In addition to tasks with fixed due dates, the dashboard also shows you the prioritized list of backlogged tasks in a separate widget. Another widget that you see on the dashboard is the activity stream. It’s a built-in microblogging tool that allows everyone on the team to instantly share information. In addition, it displays all the team members’ recent actions in real time.

You can easily rearrange the layout of widgets and customize the view of your dashboard.
