Manage dependencies between tasks

To create a dependency, point the cursor over the edge of the task bar, click on the arrow, and move the cursor to the dependent task while holding the mouse button. Wrike automatically links the two tasks when you release the mouse button.

When you reschedule a task, all the dependent tasks are rescheduled automatically, thus displaying the downstream effect of the new schedule on the entire project. With Wrike, you can create four types of dependencies:

Finish-to-Start – B can't start before A is finished

When a dependent task should start on a specific date, you can set a time constraint.

To remove a dependency, select it with a mouse click and simply press “Delete” on your keyboard.
