Flexible Structures™

Wrike's Flexible Structures™ allow you to organize the plan the way that best suits your project. This helps you get good visibility into projects and quick access to the necessary information. Additionally, Wrike's Flexible Structures™ allow you to build multiple views of the same project. You can organize tasks by departments, teams, products, processes, etc.

Wrike lets you organize your project plans in a hierarchy. However, in real life, things are not strictly hierarchical. Different teams may work on common tasks. Wrike's Flexible Structures™ let you easily manage overlapping activities. For example, your sales and marketing teams may work on product-related tasks together. In this case, you can organize your product-related tasks in a special folder "by product" and put it in the "Marketing" (shared with your marketing team) and "Sales" (shared with your sales team) folders. As a result, each team becomes more productive by getting access to the relevant, up-to-date product information.

Thanks to the drag-and-drop support, you can put a folder in as many top folders as you need, quickly and easily. If you want one subfolder to be included in many folders, left-click on the subfolder, hold the mouse button and the "ctrl" key simultaneously and pull the subfolder to the place where you want to see it.

Tip to remember: When you put something in a shared folder, it automatically becomes shared as well. For example, if you move a project folder to a folder shared with your client, your client will see the project folder and underlying tasks.
