Flexible Structures™

Wrike's Flexible Structures™ allow you to organize the plan the way that best suits your project. This helps you get good visibility into projects and quick access to the necessary information. Additionally, Wrike's Flexible Structures™ allow you to build multiple views of the same project. You can organize tasks by departments, teams, products, processes, etc.

Wrike lets you organize your project plans in a hierarchy. However, in real life, things are not strictly hierarchical. Different teams may work on common tasks. Wrike's Flexible Structures™ let you easily manage overlapping activities. For example, your production and marketing teams may work on creation of a new video for a client. In this case, you can put a task "create a new video" in the "Marketing" (shared with your marketing team) and "Production" (shared with your production team) folders. As a result, each team becomes more productive by getting access to the relevant, up-to-date project information. Or, you can simultaneously include the task "improve web site content" in the "online marketing" and the "Web site" folders.

A task in Wrike can be put in as many folders as you need, easily and quickly, thanks to the drag-and-drop support. Simply click on the task bar and pull it to the appropriate folder, holding CTRL on your keyboard. The task will be also included into the chosen folder.

Tip to remember: When you put something in a shared folder, it automatically becomes shared as well. For example, if you move a task to a folder shared with your client, your client will see the tasks.
