When the duration of a task is changed and it impacts other dependent tasks, the assignee of the dependent task is notified via email. Are third parties with whom the task is shared also notified?
It depends on the notification settings of the third party with whom the task is shared. The notification settings can be defined for each folder, as well as on the user's account level.
Here's a roundup of the notifications rules:
- By default, the author of the task and the assignees get notified about changes.
- People who are subscribed to "All" notifications for a folder get notifications about all underlying tasks.
- If the change was done through email, and you were one of the recipients, Wrike will not send you a duplicate notification.
- The person who did the change does not receive a notification.
