Create, assign and monitor tasks: Break down a task

Let's say you assign the task called "Create a new advertising video" to your marketing manager and put it in the "Marketing" project folder. When the manager has a couple of minutes to think about this task and plan it thoroughly, he or she can easily create a subfolder called "New video" within the "Marketing," folder. Then he or she can create tasks for smaller steps that need to be taken, like "write script." Once the task is elaborated, the manager can delete the original task, leaving those small sub-tasks.

Since the "Marketing" folder is shared with you, you can log into the system at any time and check where the manager stands with the new advertising video. And if you want to be notified about the progress instantly, you can subscribe to all notifications related to the subfolder "New Video."
