What is a task?
A task is the simplest step that you need to fulfill within your project, department plan and business. Complicated steps that can be planned in more detail are usually organized as folders in Wrike.
For example, a simple problem, such as uploading a new logo to your corporate Web site, can be assigned as a task to your Web developer. On the other hand, a complex problem, like developing a new product, could be organized as a hierarchy of folders and tasks. Each folder could then represent a step and consist of tasks and subfolders.
You can put a task into multiple folders to get better visibility from several perspectives. This flexibility is the unique feature of Wrike. Depending on your needs, folders can take on many meanings, such as projects, project steps, departments, priorities, statuses and much more.
Wrike allows you to organize not only tasks, but other items as well: issues, ideas, features, contacts, books, inventory, menu items, schedule items, etc. Then you can share them with your colleagues, contractors and partners.

The collaboration service Wrike is rolling out today... That is about the easiest way I can imagine to create and assign tasks. It's even easier than using Outlook's own Tasks list..I also like the way Wrike signs up new users: When you send somebody a message and cc Wrike, the recipient is automatically signed up."
