Can I edit tasks directly from the timeline view?

  1. You can drag and drop task bars to change the task start date and due date.
  2. To change the task duration, drag and drop the right edge of the task bar.

  3. If you need to view or edit the task details, click on the "Details" or "Edit" link in the window that appears when you place cursor over the task bar. You will be redirected to the task viewing or editing mode.
  4. If you need to convert a task into a milestone, click the "Convert into milestone" link and the start date and duration will be removed for this task.
