New Add-in for Mac Users:
Turn Your Emails Into Live Tasks, now in Apple Mail!

Published by Anne  |  Wednesday, 10 October, 2012
Some may say that e-mail is outdated and soon will be completely replaced by social media or other tools. However, the research we ran not long time ago shows the opposite: 58% of people in the U.S. still start their day by checking their inbox. Today, we have great news for all the Mac users who can’t live without this good old tool. The new add-in for Apple Mail turns e-mails into interactive tasks and brings the speed and ease of Wrike project management software right to your inbox!

Thanks to the new add-in, when a task you follow in Wrike is updated, you instantly see it right in your inbox. It looks and feels the same great as in Wrike, allowing you to see all the up-to-date data connected in one place and quickly contribute to the discussion with your colleagues in real time. Right from your inbox, you can:
Of course, you can create new Wrike tasks and schedule them right from your Apple Mail inbox, too.

Watch a short screencast demonstrating how the add-in works and download it right away! The add-in is a great way to become more productive without changing habits and leaving your favorite e-mail tool, so you are welcome to share the news with your teammates who are Mac fans, too. :)

New add-in is compatible with Apple Mail 5.x for Mac OS 10.7.x and Apple Mail 6.x for Mac OS 10.8.x.

P.S. Some of you have sent us requests about the Outlook add-in for MacOS, too. We do our best to let both Windows and Mac users make the most of Wrike’s e-mail add-ins; however, Microsoft hasn’t released add-in architecture for Outlook on this platform, and that’s why our engineers cannot start working on it. Once Outlook for Mac starts supporting add-ins, we’ll be happy to provide Mac users with an Outlook add-in, as well.
